NFC Foundation visits Hamilton County High School
On March 3, 2020 representatives of the North Florida College Foundation joined Hamilton County High School seniors for lunch at the high school, passing out snacks that quickly linked students to valuable information about NFC scholarships.
The NFC Foundation’s informative snacks were bags of potato chips that featured a customized NFC sticker and Quick Response (QR) Code that immediately linked students’ cell phones to NFC’s scholarships web page.
NFC Resource Development Director Judy Lundell and Scholarships Coordinator Annabelle Scott, along with NFC Foundation Board of Directors Chair Karen Mitchell and Foundation Board member and City of Jasper Attorney Rhett Bullard were on site for the special visit in Hamilton County.
Let’s Talk Opportunity.

According to Judy Lundell, NFC Foundation Director, “Our goal at the Foundation is to make sure all students are financially able to earn a degree or workforce training certificate at NFC without going into debt.”
Let’s Talk Scholarships.
Annabelle Scott, NFC Scholarship Coordinator, shared information on scholarships and opportunities at NFC, “The NFC Foundation has provided over 250 scholarships this year for a total amount of over $320,000, as a result of generous donors. NFC is one of the most affordable colleges in the state of Florida. Two-year degrees with articulation agreements to four-year universities are available as well as a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).” Scott also encouraged Hamilton County students to check out the variety of training options at NFC such as the College’s CDL truck driving course, paramedic and EMT training, the NFC Public Safety Academy, accounting and business courses, and many other career path programs and courses leading to a certificate, AA or AS degree.
