The long-standing partnership has provided support for a variety of student scholarships and College programs.

In April, Edward Meggs, President of Madison County Community Bank, presented the NFC Foundation with a $2,500 donation. According to NFC Director of Resource Development Judy Lundell the funding will directly assist students in NFC's commercial truck driving program, helping pay tuition and fees and getting graduates quickly into the workforce.

Supporting education and the Madison County community are top priorities for Meggs and the Madison County Community Bank team. "Education is the key to our community's future and we are very supportive of the College," said Meggs. "We know it is extremely important for us to be a part of strengthening education and opportunities in Madison County."

Madison County Community Bank, Madison County's only locally owned bank, has also been a major supporter of the NFC Artist Series throughout the years and funds an annual high school scholarship through the NFC Foundation. The Madison County Community Bank Scholarship at NFC is awarded each March to a Madison County High School senior that is "hardworking and involved in community activities" among other criteria.
