North Florida College's Certified Production Technology (CPT) program focuses on core technical skills for entry-level production workers to enter the workforce ready for success. This program is applicable in all sectors of manufacturing and graduates are well-prepared to help companies increase productivity and competitiveness.

Flexible Class ScheduleThe program's course EEV 0210 (300 clock hours) is taught in a hybrid format with 240 hours online and 60 lab activity hours on campus. The NFC manufacturing and production technology lab will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in order to accommodate student’s various schedules. The 60 hours can be completed in any order on the days/times available. |
OSHA 10 CertificationThe CPT program prepares students to earn the OSHA 10 Certification. An OSHA 10 general industry card is good for any entry-level general industry worker. OSHA 10 courses promote workplace safety and health and inform workers about their workplace safety rights. Examples include employees in healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, cosmetology, automotive, warehousing, and distribution. |
Building Block to Industrial Machinery Maintenance ProgramWhile not a prerequisite, some students with limited experience may find it helpful to start with the CPT certificate and move up to NFC's Industrial Machinery Maintenance program. |
